I am incredibly sore after the wrestling tournament yesterday. I feel like I got hit by a train. Every muscle in my body hurts. Hard to turn my head from side to side. My entire back hurts, etc.. Really shouldn't be wrestling in tournaments when I'm 36 and dont train for wrestling anymore. It was a lot of fun, but I'm paying the price today!

Alaska State Freestyle Championships- 1st Place @ 163 in Open Division.
I decided the day after I got back from Boston that I would try and wrestle in the State tournament. I figured there would only be 2-3 wrestlers in my weight. Turned out to be 12 wrestlers! There were some pretty good ones too. Overall I was happy with my performance since I really don't wrestle live anymore. Running gets you in shape, but only wrestling gets you in wrestling shape.

Did the same Huffman and back route. My legs felt really tired. It was more to do about wrestling last night. I wrestled again tonight and I did feel better in my stance and shots felt smoother. I've decided to wrestle in the open division at state freestyle this year. It will be fun!
