My hips were hurting so bad from skiing yesterday.  It just shows how one dimensional I've become.  I really need to do the other things like stretching and some dynamic warm-ups, weights, etc... Otherwise, I'll barely be able to walk when I get older.

I did warm-up and decided to run an easy 6 miler on the treadmill in Girdwood.

It was kind of a failed workout today.  I was suppose to do 8 miles at 5:52 pace and I just wasn't ready for it.  I'm following a little different program and I'm just not ready yet.  Plus, it's hard over the holidays with all the crap I've been eating.  Still got a good workout in though. Next time will be easier.

Had a great evening and Christmas morning with the kids.  I ran my Boston prep route and I felt pretty good despite all the junk I've been eating.  I'll clean up my diet after the holidays.  Nice to get outside on Christmas and run.

I had a great run from Studio 49 on the Campbell Creek trail.  I felt pretty good and was running steady going from 7:20 pace down to a 6:15 on the snowy trail.  It was fun running in the dark, but I did run into those same 2 moose I ran into all summer.

Nice to get outside and run again.  Just ran from the house, but the sun was out and I felt pretty darn good.  Kept is easy and focused on not going faster then 7 min pace.  1 more week of running until I officially begin training for Boston.

Ran the totem from the post office and extended some on the coastal trai/northern lights to get a longer run.  I wanted to run a little longer today, so I could watch the Vikings at 9am tomorrow.  I felt really good and the sun was out.  Loved it.
