I love when the clock Fall back.  An extra hour to the day!  Had a great run today.  Ran in my shorts again!!  Ran my boston prep route.  Started at 7:20 pace and progressed down to 6:10 pace.  I had a pretty solid week considering wrestling started.  Gotta keep it going until I officially get dialed into Boston training.

Running in shorts in November!!!! Loving this weather. Got it done again after wrestling practice tonight. Ran to Huffman and back and added some extra. Felt good.  Glad the work week is done.

Another great wrestling practice today.  I had to wait until after 6pm again to run, but I felt really good. I ran my south loop mostly in the dark.  Lots of trick or treaters out too.  It's not ideal running after a long day, but I gotta suck it up and I'm glad when I'm out there doing it.

First day of wrestling today and it went good.  Kids seem motivated and ready to put in some work.  I had to wait until 6:30p to get my run in. I felt really good running though.  Kept it easy.  Still warm outside (40 degrees) and I ran in my shorts and it's almost November!

Wow!  50 degrees and sunny today.  Almost November and I'm running in shorts.  Had a great run today too.  Ran my south loop.  Started at 7:20 pace and progressed down to 5:44 pace my last mile.  I felt really good. Wrestling starts tomorrow!!!!!!

I woke up at 6am to get this run done, so I could enjoy my daughters dance recital today!!!! Felt awesome running in the dark and cool weather.  It was a clear sky and lots of stars out.  I felt pretty good this morning and usually it's hard for me to get going that early.  Nice to have out of the way too.

Had a great run this morning.  I did a real easy 4 miles w/ 5 striders and then did a progressive tempo run.  It felt pretty darn easy, but I'm not really trying to get workouts in right now. Just wanted to spin the legs and get a harder effort in.  It was fun though.

Easy recovery pace after work today.  I'm feeling good and almost like I could start training serious for my next Marathon.  Wrestling starts next wednesday though, so I'm going to have to try and get my running in.  It'll be pretty busy starting wednesday until Boston in April. But, sometimes you gotta work hard to enjoy things.  I'm actually looking forward to it.

Very sore and my right hip was tight.  I wrestled last night with my son and a couple other kids.  I'm just not sure I can still do both at my age and be focused on running.  Anyways, easy pace for the entire run today.

I ran my south loop right after work today.  I started at 7:22 pace and progressed down to 6:06 pace at the end. I felt pretty good and it was a beautiful fall day.  Suppose to get colder the next couple days, but warming up again this weekend.  Good effort today.

Easy pace this morning before work to Huffman and back.  Nice fall morning, but I really need to start eating better.  I eat too much before I go to bed and I can feel it weighing me down when I'm running.  I realize this is the off season from marathon training, but I can still start eating better.

Was able to sleep in and have a little breakfast and coffee before I went for run.  Another nice fall day out, but still really windy.  Ran my Boston prep route and added a couple miles at the end.  Started at 7:22 pace and progressed down to 6:20 pace.  Felt pretty good and nice to be outside.

Wow! I can't believe what a busy week I just had.  After our kids wrestling camp I was fortunate enough to run an general aerobic pace 7 miles to Huffman and back with some extra.  It was still warm outside, but windy.  Feels great to be out in fresh air!

Had a good workout today in my hot garage.  I was just gonna run an easy 10, but I wanted to turn the legs over for awhile.  I haven't done any workouts since my marathon.  This wasn't really tempo pace just slightly slower, but the heat made up for the slower pace.  Felt good and it was fun!  The first 6 miles started at 7:30 pace that eventually  progressed down to 6:30 pace. Then I did the last 4 miles  @ (6:00, 5:56, 5:52, 5:49).  I lost a lot of water!

Great run this morning.  Woke up early and was out the door by 7:45am and it was still dark.  I love running when the sun is just starting to come up.  Started off easy, but was around 6:10 pace toward the end.  Nice to get the run done before work too.

Decided I'd run 10 miles on 10/10!  Ran my south loop today right after work.  It was cool with light rain, but I felt pretty good.  Upper body felt a little heavy and my arms were tired.  Averaged 6:43 pace for the run.  Nice to be outside though.

An easy pace to Huffman and back. Loving this fall.  I also did my 1st ever HOT YOGA session.  I really enjoyed it.  It was very challenging though.  I want to add something to my running with this yoga.  Hope to gain some core strength and flexibility.  Looking forward to next session.

Ran my Boston prep route today after work.  It was so BEAUTIFUL out today.  Sunny and warm.  I have to enjoy these days while I can. Started at 7:25 pace and progressed down to 6:15 pace.  Averaged 6:38 pace for the entire run.  My right hip flexor was way better than yesterday!  Looking forward to the weekend.

Ran to Dearmoun and back after work today.  My right hip flexor wasn't very happy during the day and during my run.  I usually can run through it and after it warms up it feels good.  It got better, but still an annoying pain during the run.  Need to pay attention to it.
