I ran the Boston loop from my house and added another 2 miles at the end. Need to start getting my long run longer again. Was pretty tired the last 2 miles. I ran about 6:45 pace.

Off- Traveled back to Alaska

10 miles (4 miles @ tempo)

I did a 3 mile easy warm-up and then ran 4 straight miles @ tempo pace. Felt pretty good and relaxed. I averaged about 5:55 pace for the 4 miles. Then ran the last 3 miles easy at about 7min. pace. Good workout and nice to run a little fast for a change.

16 miles (Ran around Lake Bemidji- 6:50 pace)

I always like to run around the lake when I'm back in Bemidji. I always think about my child hood growing up when I use to think that biking around the lake was such a big deal. I know that my running isn't going very good because I was hurting the last 4-5 miles of the run. Didn't bring enough water or any gel. I just haven't been running enough. Lots of reasons. 1. Being sick lately 2. Pain in both feet 3. Busy with summer school and wrestling all summer 4. A little mentally drained. I hope I can get things turned around a little for the last couple months of the running season before wrestling begins.

Ran from my mom's house in Bemidji. Ran to Northern Liquor store and back. Nice to run on Birchmont drive.
